Jesus commended the church in Smyrna, a very poor and suffering group of believers. His message in Revelation 2:8-11 is for every church that has experienced suffering, loss of material wealth and rejection by the majority who are religious yet have denied Christ, His commands and His people. Christians across the world identify and rejoice with this church. Will American churches soon experience more of what Smyrna experienced?
