After a focus on God’s blessings on Christians in Ephesians 1-3, Ephesians 4 challenges believers to live in a manner worthy of our calling, listing sins of the old nature to take off while putting on the deeds of the new nature. Paul takes his challenge to another level in chapter 5 warning that we not walk in listed sins of darkness but to live as "children of light."
